Description
The pavilion was built during the reign of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah. An inscription dating back to sometime between 1869 and 1870 is carved on the upper band of the arch on the first floor. The building is modest in size, with thick walls and simulated brick corners, topped by a pyramidal roof covered in green tiles.
The ground floor, designed for domestic purposes, is supported by four pillars and features a forecourt with three open arcades that overlook the El Menara basin. The first floor is distinguished by a large balcony with balustrades on the north side. Inside, the decoration consists of painted borders along the edges of the vault and large semi-circular motifs highlighted with vibrant colors.
