Description
The Ain Asseddoun Heritage Interpretation Centre is a cultural institution dedicated to celebrating both the tangible and intangible heritage of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. It brings the region's natural wonders to life by showcasing its famous landscapes and landmarks, while also exploring local history through its monuments and archaeological treasures. The center further highlights the beauty of vernacular architecture, reflected in traditional 'Ighermans,' 'Tighermantins,' and ancient medinas. This architectural heritage is complemented by displays of the region’s craftsmanship, including authentic examples of weaving, costumes, jewellery, and the tradition of fantasia. Additionally, the centre presents popular arts, such as Ahwach and Ahidous, through audiovisual materials and interpretive texts.
